So...yesterday, Friday the 5th, was a friend of mines birthday..... 
this is what I made for her : Her very own recipe box complete with a kitchen alphabet! I won't go through all the letters but let's just say there were Cupcakes, Aprons, Measuring Spoons and all kinds of fun little things I had to paint. This was one of my first projects with painting on wood....normally I paint on canvas or watercolor paper, so I had some fun experimenting.

Cute recipe box Kelley. I love the cupcake! Hopefully Jackie will fill it with her favorite recipes to pass down to her daughter.
